I’m interested in discussing a topic that relates to the UCF Libraries’ embedded librarian program. Embedded librarians collaborate with faculty to support distance and online students by monitoring courses to provide research assistance and answers to questions about library and other online resources. The program strives to help students with research strategies and relevant tools. If there’s interest, I’d also be happy to share an overview of UCFs Infolit Modules project also. I think this is a great program and am just beginning to implement it in my online classes this semester for the first time. I look forward to learning more about it and discussing strategies to make it work for all my students, not just the proactive ones who are likely to engage with a Librarian on their own anyway.
